Class News

We’ve had a really good start to Autumn Term in Year 4. We enjoyed a lovely first week back getting to know each other, chatting to each other about our worries and talking about what we are looking forward to this year. In English, we have been looking at Myths. The children have worked really hard to learn the text map of the story Theseus and the Minotaur. In maths, we’ve been looking at numbers up to 10,000. We’ve been comparing and ordering numbers, and looking at the value of the different digits. In Science, we have begun to look at electricity and we are looking forward to making some electrical circuits. We are looking at some artwork by Gaudi and studying his style in art lessons. In geography, we have begun to look at the the lines and latitude and longitude around the earth.

A great start to Autumn 1! Well done Year 4!
