The children are set a challenge of learning the location of globally significant places. The geography challenge will take place twice a half term in your child's class.
When they pass a stage of the challenge, they will receive a certificate and they will then move on to the next stage. When the children pass stage twelve, they will receive a global award certificate in assembly.
Children are expected to spell the names of the places correctly using a capital letter.
The expectations of each stage are detailed below and if you click on the stage number, you can access copies of the sheets and the answers. It would be great if you could use this to help your child practise at home.
