All of the children in the school worked hard to learn a poem over half term. Some children chose to learn classic poems whereas others created their own poems. 

The children then performed their poem to their class and the class decided on a finalist. All of the staff were so impressed by the effort the children had gone to. 

 

The finalists were then recorded performing their poem and on Friday 11th June, the whole school watched the video performances and voted for a KS1 winner and a KS2 winner. 

 

The winners were Juliet in England class and Jack in China class.
